Bring that roll mat!

Yoga in the morning?

We are pleased to announce that there'll be yoga workshops in the mornings during The Overland Event this year, led by the hugely professional Jayne Attwood.

Jayne has been practising for 25 years and is a full member of the CIMSPA, or Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity.

Granted, that's a bit of a mouthful, but it does mean you can be assured of the quality that Jayne brings to her 45 minute classes.

She has had a lifetime of involvement in sport - mainly Triathlon - and now, as well as a Yoga and Pilates Instructor, she's also qualified as a Kickboxercise Instructor. Maybe that's a skill that could come in handy somewhere else, but during the weekend of The Event it's all about relaxing, taking stock, and planning that next exploration.

Perhaps trying a yoga class will be your newest foray into the unknown! You don't have to be flexible and it's great for the mind as well as the body.

If you do have a yoga mat please bring it along, but don't panic, because if it's your first time Jayne will have some extras along with her.

The classes are scheduled for inside or out depending on the weather, but it's bound to be dry and the Hill End venue is just the most beautiful place to give it a go.
