The Winter Warmer
It's an opportunity to relax in the same chilled atmosphere that the ‘main Event’ is now famous for, but this is even more intimate, with only 120 spaces available.
On arrival at our totally new venue, just east of Oxford, you'll be treated to an inclusive hot meal and start making friends immediately. Smaller and more personal than the summer Event, the legendary Winter Warmer is a weekend of fun, laughter, presentations, workshops, music, warming food, hot showers, fine ales and mulled wine.
Camping is on a well-drained, perfectly flat football pitch.
Here you can meet a host of travel authors, learn new things through the workshops and presentations and gain some inspiration for that next trip. watch presentations. 'Photo Roulette' is back and there's even a pub quiz!

And there will of course also be our famous FREE tea and coffee all weekend.
For years our Event security has been managed by Gurkhas, so for 2026 we've decided that our charity of choice is The Gurkha Welfare Trust
Please note that the Winter Wamer is for advance ticket holders only and there are only 120 spaces.
You won’t be able to turn up and pay on the gate.
Your free hot meal on arrival will be a baked potato with a choice of fillings, but please select a meaty, fishy or veggie ticket to suit!
