Everyone at Overland Magazine and The Overland Event remains immensely proud of a wonderful thing! It's the fact that all of you who have attended our wee shindigs in the past have enabled some motorcycles to keep health services functioning.
Since our beginning in 2011 we have been supporting the charity Motorcycle Outreach which has equipped health service professionals in Indonesia to become, and to remain, mobile.
During the COVID-19 pandemic the provision of health care must continue of course, and now that funds raised through The Overland Event have enabled the purchase and maintenance of two more Honda CRF 150s, we know that at least on the island of Flores, that vital service can continue.
Thank you all for helping. It means a lot to us and it's vital for the people of Flores.
