Triumph & Dunlop make it happen!

We can't stress enough just how pleased we are that Dunlop Tyres and Triumph Motorcycles have chosen to support The Overland Event this year.

Although we are an Event that isn't driven by any profit motive - indeed we actively choose to support good causes and the Overland Community instead - like everyone else we are facing increased costs this year.

In association with international bike movers Motofreight, who have supported our Authors Tent for the past 5 years, we have chosen to work with Dunlop and Triumph because they reflect many of our own principles.

Apart from supporting our travelling community with quality products, these brands are taking an active stance against people traffiking, modern slavery, corruption and are trying to minimise their impact on the environment.

Triumph, as well as ongoing work on electric road bikes, have just purchased OSET, who have been pioneering development in kids electric machines since 2004. This further demonstrates their commitment to going green which simultaneously working to introduce more kids to our very special, low-impact form of personal transport.

Dunlop, who are headline sponsors, will have a selection of their products on display so feel free to ask all about the construction and technology in their new 'Mission' and 'Mutant' tyres and their constantly expanding Adventure and Trail range. But don't worry, they'll be showing many of their tarmac touring tyres too!

Triumph are supporting the Bike Show this year and you'll be able to see some really surprising machinery in there this year, undercover and spot-lit as usual. It's such a great place to hang out as the evening draws in, surrounded by all that history. Triumph are always looking forward though and will be making a host of new models available for test ride including their new 1200 Tiger and Scrambler models. Remember to bring your licence!
